First post so go easy on me. Bought a basket case 96 WS6 Formula a year ago, twitch in face started about 11 months ago...
Here's the set up. LT-1 has 3 inch tall Canton valve covers and Hooker Super Comp Shorties. Anyone have success with running plug wires up top? Been looking at post but seems like the OTVC route is only for long tubes? Lastly, do you have to make your own wires or has someone found a pre made set? If you've made them anybody have the measurements for wire length. Thanks

You might be able to use the OTVC plug wires with shorties but with the taller valve covers you might run into fitment issues with them and have problems with them getting too hot with the shorties. About the only thing you could do is give them a try and if you have any type of issues replace them with ones that run the stock route.

As for the OTVC wires coming pre-made, I've never seen any. All of them that I have seen have been in kits where you have to not only cut the wires to length but where you also have to put on at least one of the ends since the LT1 cars don't have "normal" boots on both ends.

Good luck.

With the Opti the way it is why bother addind all that wire? The wires are probably better off going under.
