i haven't had this car long enough to take it to a strip yet so i'm a little nervous about how the spring will go. anyone got some tips hints or advice for me? i've got an lt1 6 speed for reference. pretty much stock and isn't gettin big work til after the first track run

Just remember that the LT1 peaks its HP around 5000rpm's. Try to keep tire spin to a minimum (that's killed me in drag races) And just have fun! If you're that concerned with the spring, give it a few practice runs at a stop sign or light until you've found a relative sweet spot. They're fast cars, g'luck!

yeah. the wheel spin is what kills me. 2500 rpms at signs has slid me through signs. shifting is easy enough. and the power is good. i'll definitely have fun
