This is a lil prelude story to the two quesitons I have so bare with me. I was out getting gas last night before I went to go pick up a buddy and when I was just bout done an 01 Z28 pulls up next to me in the station and revs a lil. Sounded really nice btw. Any ways him and his girl get out of the car and the guy and I start talking. He asks if Im 6 or 8 and I tell him I have the Formula and he just gets all excited so the convo moves forward. I tell him Im auto with cold-air and headers and he wants to go have a run. A lil skeptical cuz of the night and how many Po-Po were gonna be out be we decided to do it anyways. So we go to the spot and its still a lil early, around 9:30 or and we go. It was a good run but there were cars up infront of us so we didn't get to finish. He got the jump on me but I was able to catch up but then. like I said, traffic. So we pull back into the gas station and talk a lil bit more. I said I think they would've had me but both him and his girl, who knows about cars
Alright so I guess for my first question, the guy said summin about tweaking the throttle body so that it opens up all the way. How can I do this?
The next one is I've been looking at swapping out the intake manifold. Now I know that ppl have said that it doesn't really make much of a difference but in my mind it will and plus I just wanna change the looks up a lil bit on the inside. I was originally going to do the Edelbrock LT4 conversion but then I came across one by Holley, http://holley.com/91506211.asp. I know I should just call them up and ask but I wanna ask anyone out here what they think first. I.e. can I use Holley or is it not for my engine, and is there a difference, if any, between them and Edelbrock?
