Full Version: Need source for small interior plastic parts

I just replaced the headliner in my 94 Formula. Now I need to replace all the little plastic trim parts that broke either coming out or going back in. Coathooks, seatbelt guide plates, etc. sad.gif
Does anyone know of a source for new parts? I don't want to pull them from a wreck (among other things, I need light grey which is nearly impossible to find).

I tried classicindustries.com. I think they have everything in the world BUT those parts.

thanks
Tyler
How about your local Pontiac dealer?

If you don't want used, you will have to go to the dealer for those parts. They will cost more than you would expect though.

i've bought some stuff at the dealer and it was cheaper than I expected. Ya never know till you ask.

Yeah i guess that's true, maybe it depends on the part, and the dealer as well...i replaced my seatbelt loop for my drivers side chair and that little plastic loop cost me over 20 bucks...

Thanks for the replies. I'm pretty sure most, if not all, are out of production... especially in light grey.
I will try again, though.

I fear that used parts will be in the same condition as my present parts; I'd worry about the plastic being faded, brittle, etc.

You can have any of that plastic dyed whatever color you want. I have an 89 turbo trans am, so the interior is called beachwood. I bought new bezels for the seatbelt retractors in the roof and they only come black. Dyed them no problem. Also ordered new rear seat side panels for my 76 trans am they came white almost transparent. They too will be dyed buckskin. I'm from Canada and since the U.S. $ is worth %20 more than ours, it would be like getting another %20 discount. I also happen to run a four line GM dealership so if you'd like a price on them let me know. Or check out our website http://www.andersonsgm.ca/
