Ive been working on getting that annoy road grime off the inside of rims, and ive tried polish, a little wet sanding(did a good job, but obviously takes forever!)...and ive found something that works very very well...

Meguiar's Hot Rims takes off a lot of the road grime

...scrub it until you can physically scrub anymore. This will get a ton of that gunk off...

wet sand with 1000 grit sandpaper to get that REALLY stubborn junk off...

Polish, polish, polish! (I used white diamond polish)

They look 1000% better already...

what should I clearcoat them with and how should I do it (if it all)?

Id really reccomend this to anyone with polished aluminum rims to get that gunk out of there!

I told you it was good stuff. You should be able to use regular clear coat, but I am not a painter.
