I have seen Pontiac emblems, but I have not seen a Firebird emblem. Would be a great idea though.

I've heard of people using a Grand am leather shift boot on our cars, which I think would look really nice...Ive always wanted to see it but never have...
a little custom stitching would be cool in one of those...

My ring that connects the shift boot to the console broke...so I'm still lookin for one. And a ring for it. Grand Am shift boots work on these? I may have to look into that. I still haven't found too many custom shift boots just yet but I'm always looking.

While I wasn't writing on this forum for several years (ahemmm!), had a leather shift boot made for my 94 Formula. What a mess. Here's the rub. You gotta glue the shift boot to that stupid plastic ring and that ring can break. Also, the leather, even though this one was very soft, broke the plastic ring. That caused no end of problems. The ring is made from some stupid stuff that not even epoxy made for plastic will fix. Also, the leather is thicker than the cheapy vinyl that the shift boots are made for, so even when the leather was glued to the plastic ring, it wouldn't fit properly. Even sanded the leather down till it was as thin as the vinyl shift boot and it still wouldn't fit properly--the ring kept coming loose. Finally gave up and threw the darn thing away--waste of money. Try a Google search for shift boots for Firebirds...there might be a company that makes them.

Check out redlinegoods.com. They make custom shift boots for manuals and automatics.
