Been wanting to do this forever now. I always liked how newer, sometimes even older, cars had turn signals that toggled back and forth. So I decided to do it myself. Extremely easy, takes about 5-10 minutes per side, and only cost me about $5 for some wiring connectors.

Please excuse the cheesy video, I suck at video editing.

Nope, was just a simple cut and splice job. It's nothing special or new, alot of people do this to their cars, I just haven't seen it done on ours yet. It's very easy for anyone to do. Here's my crude MS Paint drawing:

You're basically just cutting the ground wire from the smaller 194 bulb, and tapping that into the blinker wire going to the other 3057 bulb. That's it...

oic, makes sense. Would that cause the bulb to burn out prematurally tho?

Don't see any reason why it should.

I watched the video and did this mod to my blinkers as well ! it was quick and easy too ! here's the weird part ! a few days later when cleaning car i turned them on to show a friend and the lights were back to blinking normally ! BUT............ my third brake light that has never worked in the 3 years i have owned the car has started working !checked the blinker wiring ,still connected but not getting the mods effect !!!! anyone have an explanation for this ???
