Hi everyone

I've been on the boards for a while because of my 89 Formula 350 project. Well, that car became too much money for me to afford on my stockboy/ commuting to college salary, so I decided to find a car that would be driveable extremely easily.

So, I found this!!!! I just brought her home today, so she needs a wash, but it's 20 degrees and I don't want everything to freeze lol. I'll hose her down tomorrow

It's my "new" 1992 Formula 350, VIN-verifiable, with RPO code-verifiable TTops. Fairly rare I have heard. It needs a tiny bit of work, like the replacement of a really slowly-leaking power steering hose, and egr valve/ temp sensor replacement eventually even though it runs fine. I plan on having it repainted in a year or 2 since the paint job it has now isn't too good. But here she is.

Thats great. I love that type hood and even have one for my 89 as soon as it warms up enough to paint it. Do you still have the 89? Maybe you can use parts from it? Any plans to go to the track? Does it feel like it runs pretty strong?

Yeah I still have my 89. It's actually in my garage, which is completely blocked by snow, otherwise the 92 would be in it lol.

Actually, I switched a center cap from my 89 over to the 92 because the one on the 92 was missing the emblem. But until I sell it or part it out, the 89 is pretty much a spare parts car lol

I have no plans for the track really. I don't really know of one near me, and I wouldn't really feel comfortable at the track (I'm only 19) and I don't really have time lol. It would be cool to do someday though.

The car seems like it runs great, yeah. Very strong, lots of torque. Unfortunately I won't really be able to see what it can do until the spring, since I'm not getting it registered until then (I trailered it home for the sam reason, not being registered until spring)

Congrats on your "new" baby. I'm sure she'll look a whole lot better once you get the opportunity to get all the road grunge off of her.

Most definitely. It's about 40 right now, so since my hoses are still frozen, I'm gonna take a bucket of warm (not hot) water and just get most of the dirt off, just so she looks good and there's no rust risk or anything
