hey guys. how's it goin? im new here, just picked up a 94 formula with 189k on the clock. dont know too much about the car yet as i have not alot of information from the previous owner. apparently it has a lt1 from a 97 camaro ss with about 70k on it. also has a mild cam, hooker short tubes, borla 3 inch with no cat, shift kit, 3000rpm stall converter, and a b&m shifter. when i find out more i will let you all know and i shall try to get some pics up soon. good to be a member.

it definitly is in need for a tune up, haha! its rough around the edges but i will put in some time on it. on the list so far is the check engine light(prob an o2 sensor that is not hooked up on the drivers side header) it has some rear end vibration that needs to be sorted out, a trans cooler is in line soon, the flywheel and torque converter are exposed on the bottom, needs the lower cover(second half of the bell housing?). either way the body is very clean for a 94 with 190k on the clock. the interior is so-so. engine is quiet. and it seems to be a real enjoyable car! will post pics this weekend if it stops raining. thanks for the welcomes everyone.

those rims look like the Gran Prix and Bonneville's, are they?
MasterTomos

Good lookin birdy tho...

thanks, my buddy has dubbed it the "spicy chicken"
xXGhosTBirDXx
it gets to me when they refer to these vehicles as "spicy chicken" or "pollo loco" or "thunder chicken" or just anything chicken. it's like you are taking away its dignity, degradiing it and figuratively calling it a chicken. well first of chickens don't fly. the bird on the decal is called a phoenix.

but then again you can have a really powerful chicken, but it's just those stereotypes, adjectives associated with the word chicken that don't match up with the car. it's like calling this big time weighlifter a chicken after he beats up some dude as his size for calling him names. regartdless of anyone, i will always refrain from calling my bird a chicken.
Blu2000
Definently Not ''chicken''. If anyone disagrees refer them to the 252 mph T/A for starters! Enough said. mullet.gif

Welcome and nice bird you've got there! I really do like white f-bodies for some reason, you can really do them up nice. Maybe some black rims with the chrome lip ;-)
liljayyiz
just got some corvette zr-1 wheels, black with machined lip. good taste freshbake. haha.

and also i will always call my firebird some type of chicken oriented name, its just funny, and its not hurting the cars feelings and does not make her perform any worse. a buddy of mine had a v6 firebird back in the day and his was dubbed the firechicken because he had the v6 model. so when i got mine it was dubbed the spicy chicken because it was a firebird with a v8 that has some balls so hence the spicy part.

Nice choice on the black ZR-1's, i was VERY close to picking some up for my car in december..but i went with the TTII's instead. I still kinda wish i got them tho, they look killer.
