Something wrong with the old K member that you would need a new one ?
(Large expense that may not be needed)
Anyway here are some good parts to cover what you already listed Also I'll add that Good Shocks make a huge impact on how the car reacts even in launch situations.
UMI Poly/Rod end adj. lower control arms
UMI Double Rod end adj. Panhard bar
Hurst Billet Plus Shifter
Jet Hot LT's
Bilstien or Koni Shocks
Throttle body Airfoil

Its just somethin they suggested. They aren't the type of guys to screw people over. They get too much business to waste time on unnecessary crap. He made the new K member sound like a good thing. He was talking about how every car he's put them in has been able to launch a lot harder. But I'm still fairly inexperienced with all of the suspension work, so he quite possibly could be blowin me smoke.

It really depends on what you want out of the car and if your interested in a Street/Handling setup vs a Drag type setup. It works to lighten the front end in both cases but IMHO you could spend the money some where else.
I see too many people overlooking shocks on these cars when the right ones make a dramatic improvement everywhere and are used 100% of the time.

I'm lookin for better overall handling for street purposes. I'd like to handle turns really well. They know what they are doing, so I'm just making the list as the draft for what is being done to my LT1. I'm not going to go cheap on parts, cuz if its not done right the first I'll be disappointed.

Im currently running a multi championship winning Autocross setup.
If you want the best this is it.
Strano Springs
550# linear Front 150# linear Rear 1.2" drop
Koni Single Adjustable Shocks
Strano Hollow Swaybars 35mm Front 22mm Rear
UMI Adj. Panhard Bar
The Springs are all the rage on other Tech sites
They have a firm rate and a nice drop, The Swaybars are optimally sized for a balanced setup. And the Koni's are the lynch pin that brings this setup together. Their superior valving and adjustable rebound allow you taylor the car to your own liking.
My cars ride is firm like you would expect from a performance car but not harsh like a racecar.
"It handles like it's on rails" while that line maybe stolen it is true. The car behaves and maintains composure in almost all situations. It really is a joy to drive.

Thanks, that really helps out a lot. It has been hard for me to find people that use something besides a drag setup, saying they even use one. I think it is sad how many people overlook something so vital. I'm adding these to my personal list and heading up next week to discuss pricing and such. Then comes the 1+ month waiting list.

Stranoparts.com is where I purchased my parts from.
Give Sam Strano a Call he is a wealth of knowledge in regards to suspension for F-bodies.
