I am looking to replace my stock exhaust on my 1989 formula. Any body have a suggestions? It is a 5.0 l with tbi.

I put Edelbrock ceramic coated shorty headers, a 3" hi-flo cat and a Flowmaster 3" American Thunder kit on my Formula 350 and enjoy it. It has a nice bark to it but there's a bit of a drone in the interior @ highway speeds. Not bad, but it's there. I think my "new" '96 Z-28 will get a chambered exhaust kit from Hawks ThirdGen.

Since real duals are hard to fit under that car you might want to upsize the pipe to a 3" single from the Y pipe back to the muffler. I got a great deal on a muffler on ebay that I put on my 89 T/A. It sounds perfect and does not resonate in the car while driving. Has a nice W/O throttle sound to.
