Full Version: SLP Intake Runner Install

I installed SLP intake runners & a Lingenfelter plenum on my Formula 350 last weekend and wanted to pass along to everyone what a superior product these SLP pieces are compared to the stock intake runners. I can't speak to the performance improvement yet due to inclement weather but from a wrench-turning perspective, these are terrific.

In my experience, getting to the mounting bolts on the stock runners is frustrating to say the least. And, knuckle-busting to boot. The SLP runners have different mounting flange thicknesses and longer, allen-headed bolts. Once in place, buttoning up the install was a piece of cake by comparison to the stock pieces. Future maintenance should be a LOT easier, too.

The project produced less 'blue' language than some I've undertaken. Great product and I'd recommend them to anyone.
