I rolled up to a stop light yesterday with the top down and the new AC/DC cd blastin, minding my own business when this white lancer evo pulls up next to me....I casually looked over to him and realized it was a guy i went to high school with. All of a sudden a cop pulls into the middle of the intersection with lights and siren on....a funeral passing. The cop finally left and the other traffic started moving as we missed out go when the cop was sitting there. I did the math seeing 4 cop cars in the funeral procession and Smithfield is a small town...The light turned green and i just rolled off not really thinking we were gonna race....he stuck with me then I heard the turbo and realized he was gunning it...So I did too. He had the jump on me by about a half a car length, i shifted to second and caught him by the time he was in third gear WOT. his little turbo was screaming but my cutout drowned everything about his car including the fart can, and my AC/DC did the rest. we were coming over a bridge and we both let out, smiles on our faces. It was fun and that little evo caught me by surprise to be honest.

I never diss an import. Some of those little cars are blazing fast with alot of work. It's the slow imports that owners rice out and think they are bad,thats the ones that are irritatinig.

this evo had some umph to it though, I was impressed. I think if we were both going flat out from the beginning I would have had him cold

EVOs and 350Z's deserve respect...they are fast stock. I pulled away from a 350Z 3 times from 3 stop lights on friday night we talked afterwards and he was upset because he had a manual and was givin it all he had and I was pulling away from him after we got thru 2nd gear with a nearly stock v8 auto...haha

Its those accords and preludes you have to do a motor swap and 10 grand worth of upgrades to make them run 11's that kind of make me wonder sometimes...

Just think of the results you'd get by throwing 10 G's into a LS1 or LT1 for that matter with NO motor swap! Ricers make me laugh What's the point? Each to their own, but one thigs for sure, there's NO replacement for displacement

Nice run man, but really watch out for those Evo's, they are bad little cars for sure. It doesn't take much for them to beat a stock fbody. And they can definitely rip outta the hole. 350Z's though....i can't give them respect sorry haha. All the kids driving them think their car is the fastest in the world, and the two that i've ran i've absolutely destroyed. It wasn't even close...

Haha 350's. That reminds me when i had my 97 grand am, the V6 model, oh yeah baby. Haha anyways i just had a cone hooked right up to the MAF so it sounded like i was boosting sumtimes. Well anyways I was driving to one of my stores and this 350 came all the way up and tried racing me. Like seriously? My car looked like crap, really it did It had been in an accident and the hood was all jacked up. Classic though.

me and my buddy where out cruisin around with my 95 formula and his 95 TA along with our friend who has a 2000 Mustang GT saleen clone...we where cruisin around a 4 lane in town and a very serious "######" kid in a mid 90's white lexus rolled up between me and the TA...he was revin his engine, and even set it at like 2500 before he took off....

we pulled away from him SOO BAD...it was hilarious...the girl in the lexus in the passenger seat was laughing next stop light....he got beat by 3 people and he was the only one with racing in mind to begin with, we just put him in his place....

shoulda asked the girl to join you....hahahahahahahaa salt to the cut.
