So I still need to load up the pics of my car and headers. before i put them on my car though I want to get them ceramic coated. i called up some local hot rod shops and they told me that they don't do that or know anybody in the ciy. was in autozone yesterday and saw some high temp header paint. but that's just paint and would not really reduce under hood temps. they also had some header wrap tape cloth like about 1 inch wide and then some glue like spray to harden it. anybody done this before?

Ya the tape wrap goes way back, really old school! It helps keep heat down some, but nothing like ceramic coating. With the underhood temps our cars generate you really should have gotten the coated headers Dave

Check into JetHot. The header wraps will eventually burn out your headers.
