Hi everyone. I had a couple of questions regarding my 82 Trans Am. It is completley stock at the moment, but I want to replace the shocks, struts and springs. I wanted to raise the car a bit off the ground. Nothing drastic, just a bit higher then it sit's now. What would I need to do? Any part recomendations?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone.
Tyler
If you put new springs on it,it will sit higher slightly.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any recomendations on part manufactures? Monroe, Gabriel, KYB?

Thanks again.

With new springs, they can be bought from almost any parts house (Moog are very good), the car will sit higher--could be up to an inch if the old springs have really sagged. Also, a high pressure shock will raise the car just a bit, maybe a few tenths of an inch. I prefer KYB AGX if they are available for your car. Monroe and Gabriel shocks are junk--tried them both and both had failed within a few thousand miles.
