Hi everyone,
I searched this forum and I cant seem to find the answer im looking for so i thought id post it again. I have a 94 Formula and my left rear caliper is bad. I was looking to upgrade to an LS1 caliper setup in the back. However, Im not sure if the LS1 caliper and bracket will fit. It is a stock rear so nothing changed there.
Basically, my question is: Can I put an LS1 setup in the rear without changing anything else except for a bigger rotor, new brake pads, an LS1 caliper and the bracket for it? Do i need anything else to complete the conversion?
Thank You

I do not know for sure, but check out
TACreations. They used to have the entire conversion package on their site. Contact them and they are sure to have the answer.

Hey Thanks, I looked on there and I don't see anything about a conversion kit or anything of that sort. Just says for vehicles of 93-97 use one caliper and 98-02 use another. I emailed them and asked if there is anything else i need besides the caliper and the bracket so hopefully they will respond back to me

so i got a response back from T/A Creations, they said everything must be changed. The brakes, rotors, caliper, caliper bracket, and e-brake cable.

Even the e-brake cable? That kinda surprises me. I figured that the LT would just mount up with the LS.

the e-brake cable probably has a different attachment to the brakes, since the brakes are completely different than the ones used on the LT1's....that would be my guess.

e brake setup is totally different between the 2 thats one main reason everything has to be changed
