Interesting read. The story came out awhile ago, but I just got around to reading it.
You would think the car would be alot cleaner.

heck yeah, that bird is really dirty. i suppose they wanted to auction it as is condition so see the authentic wear. i wonder how much it'll go for now that Pontiac is gone. you think it will sell for more?

I don't know if I'm in the minority here, but personally, I don't think that the demise of Pontiac brand is necessarily going to make something like that more valuable. It's classic and collectable, regardless of the manufacturer's status.

I don't think the demise of pontiac will much affect anything. I think some will believe that they will be more desireable because they don't make them any more, yet others will believe Pontiac is dead for a reason and think of it as a lesser car due to its demise. All and all I think it will even out and be about normal...
