any one know whats going on with the weiand warrior intake for the ls1, they been pushing it back for the longest, now jegs has a ship date of 5/7/09, 3 days from now. but they always do that then they push back.
it looks really nice and its black to blend in to give it the stock apperance
and power of 30 hp/tq from 2000-6200 rpm, i know we cant take manufactures hp/tq figures to heart when it concerns a street car depending on the modification.s but its the rpm band that intrestes me if its like the bbk/ fast intake where the gains are in the 10-12 hp range but this intake claims to be from 2000-6200 it sounds good. as we know usaully street intake produce good numbers at low rpms but fall flat in there face at high rpms and high rpm race intakes produce a buttload of power in the 5000-7 or 8000 rpms if a engine is build for that kinda rpm spin but sacrafice or even loose hp at low rpms where street cars shine, but this intake is called street warrior, so will see.
price is steep but if the mags start reporting good dyno and track numbers ill fork over the green.
