I am looking at the blackout turn signal lights and Im going for a solid exterior black thing, but i was wondering if they were legal...does anyone know?

I would check your state and local laws, Good Luck.

Best bet is to look it up. Most places it is not.

Are you ordering some that are already blacked out? The ones you order are usually too dark and will get you into trouble with the law if they aren't legal in your area. What you COULD do, to keep yourself under the radar a bit is to go out and grab some VHT Nightshade at an autoparts store. That way, you can make it as dark as you want without going too dark. Pretty easy stuff to use, just like spray paint ;-) Just throwing out options for ya to consider!

I like that idea a lot but I would have to get some new ones anyway because both of my lenses are cracked.....I think Im just gonna go for the clear ones like Sassy Sue has on her 97. And When I get the car painted, I might get some silver decals and stuff to match it all

Ah gotchya, yeah i gotta say the clear corner lenses are gorgeous. I had them on my 95 Formie, they were one of the first mods i did actually. I loved them, they look SO much better than the orange, and they look especially great on a black car. When you get them installed, be sure to get some pics up for us!

when i get them installed, i should have my ram air hood and a new paint job so some pics will definitely be in order
