my car has recently tripped the 1870 code, with the characteristic hard shifting from 1 to 2 so it sounds like i need to get around to replacing the valve. ive been reading around and from what i understand, a shift kit would fix this problem. after some research ive come down to two choices, transgo and b&m. i was wondering which kits yall have used and what sort of results came with them? from what ive been reading the transgo stage 2 is pretty good, but when i look at their website, i see only the sk4l60e, the 4L60E-HD2, and the 4L60E-3. any part numbers would be great. basically im looking to clear that code while at the same time improving my ET. thanks
