Im sure this has been asked and answered 100 times on this board, but I would like to ask again if I could. I have a 95 stock TA and I would like to do my exhaust headers to tips. From what I read I would like to go with slp, I think. Ihear it fits good and is of good quality. What I would like to know is what I need to buy to completely do this jobs. Everything for the assembly and everything else. If someone would please give me a complete list of items I need and a good site to purchase from I would greatly appreciate it. Or if someone thinks that a diffirent brand would be a better fit, I would like to hear that too. Thanks again

the layout depends on if you are going to keep catalytic converters. The lt1 layout has a funky pattern and the cats are in odd locations. I dont know what ls looks like but that isnt important. If you are cutting out the cats, get longtube headers, an Off Road Y-Pipe, and if you want to go true SLP, i hear the Loudmouth I is ridiculous. I am about to get rid of my cutout and go with the loudmouth.
I got into a problem with 3 inch pipes, I dont know if you can go smaller but if possible, i recommend it.
All of this depends on if you are keeping your cats though

^ +1 and a lot of that is going to depend on your state emission standards. Your profile doesn't say where you are.

SLP is an excellent brand, but you gotta have some cash to do a full exhaust job.
I installed Pace Setter Long Tubes and Matching OR Ypipe and it all fits well.
also, with headers, I would recommend an over the valve cover (OTVC) spark plug wire kit. I know SassySue had some issues with Taylor Made but mine seem to be working just fine.

cat back exhaust is exactly that. They supply all of the exhaust hardware from you catalytic converters to the tips. Im almost positive you cant use your stock cats with longtube headers so you would have to buy some aftermarket cats, i think the highflow cats are your best option. With that, you cant use the ORY pipe, you have to get one that fits the application aand with that, i dont know personally. A big thing that kind of threw me off but was very simple to do was the O2 relocation. The headers SHOULD supply all of the materials for that and it is a simple cut and attach.
The more you take off of the engine, the more you have to put on. That said, it is WAY easier when you have some room to work. GM liked to put as much stuff as they could in these engine compartments and that leaves very little for maneuvering and stuff.
While youre at it, I dont know when your car had a tune up last but it wouldnt hurt to get some new spark plugs and do an oil change since you have to drain the oil anyway (for the passenger side header) NGK is excellent. I can get the site up sometime this afternoon where i bought all of this but i have to go to class now haha

If you go with long tubes it's very possible you would need harness extensions for the O2's as well.

yea, I bought some wire fire protectant and it is just like the spark plug boots. Protects up to like 1800 degrees or something.
I bought all of my exhaust stuff from
http://www.summitracing.com/and all of my electrical stuff from

I know Kooks also has a longtube+y-pipe w/cat set-up. if ya live in an emissions controlled state you might wanna go with that. Check out Maryland Speed.
