Full Version: New Dash is Noisy

I replaced the dash in my 94 Formula (the hard plastic part that meets the glass). The old one had a cracked very badly BUT, was making no noise at all.
I thought that it would be a good thing, replacing this, because it would have all new dampening material.

The new one is making lots of annoying creeks and 'crack' sounds (especially in temp. changes)

Assuming I can get the thing off without breaking it, what have you all used to successfully stop dash noise?

The new one had some soft material attached underneath.

There is a separate foam pad you need to buy as well??

No that's what I meant. The underside has a foam pad about 1/4" thick.
