Hey guys n' gals. Its been a while since Ive been around on the site.. Since ol' Pyro turned me onto Cheaters Inc, Im mostly in their forums and LS1 Tech. Since Ive been on my hiatus Ive entered several car shows.. some here in GA.. some up in Wisconsin in which I took first place in my class!

Since Ive been gone Ive dropped the Formula 1 1/2" and rolled the rear fender edges. I now have a miss on #5 Cyl that I cant track down to save my life.. changed plugs, swapped injectors, changed coil packs... only other thing I can come up with is it has a stuck/bent valve or low compression on that cyl. I recently picked up a 95 Chevy Silverado Stepside to use for a daily to keep the miles off the Formula which is a good thing if I decide on keeping it. Ive often thought about sellin it and pickin up a really nice chopper style bike, but every time I start to I just cant bring myself to do it... everyone tells me no that I should keep it because its in such good shape at 133k miles.

But anyways I figured I'd say WAZZZAP!

Good to hear from you again. If you had a bent/stuck valve it should be making some kind of noise. Fab up some kind of stethoscope from a piece of tubing and listen to the cover or just pull the cover. Don't overlook plug wires, I've done that before. "Oh yea they are good I just replaced them" uh huh, cept for that one sitting on the header I didn't see.

I had a valve spring break once on another car and it never made noise, just had a bad miss. It was a classic 327. much easier to fix than an LS1 sad.gif
