Hey Im Matthew. I have a 79 formula that I got for $200.00 back in 1994 it was drove with out oil so the engine was shot. I got a 77 Trans AM from the local junk yard of $150.00 for a parts car when I was 16 that had a pontiac 350 in it, but alot of the parts on it were olds 455 parts. I just resently had it rebuilt and now its a 354 I haven't got to put the engine in yet cuz Im having body work done to it and a new paint job I haven't got the paint codes I want yet. I want to give it a custom paint job with gun metal and a black/purple. I also want to find a shop later that will make me a custom hood I like the early 70's 400 hood with dual ram air. If anyone has any ideas to find paint codes and a hood shop let me know.

Look on ebay. Is the motor you have still the Pontiac motor?

Yes the engine is a pontiac motor it hasn't been started since it was rebuilt because the car was going into a body shop so we didn't put the engine back in yet and the car is at my parents house in Minnesota and Im in North Carolina I will be going there the end of October to put the engine in if the body work is done on schedule. I really can't wait to drive it again.
