Hey, just recently the door handles of my 77 formula quit opening the door. The door is stuck shut, and I have no idea how to get it open. I don't get it, one minute it worked, i shut the door and poof couldn't open it by using either handle. Anyone got any ideas how I might get it open?

Assuming the door isn't locked sounds like both door handle rods that work the door latch mechanism popped off. I never seen both at one time but I suppose it's possible. Your not going to like the sounds of this, but you're going to have to pull off the inner door panel to get to the mechanism through the inside of the door to release it manually. Good luck Dave

Being a locksmith I can tell you that sometimes you can go down thru the door with a tool and open the door. Most of the time I would unlock it but your problem is the latch itself. A locksmith may be able to see down into the door and use a tool to get it to release. It will be cheaper if you drive the car to them instead of having one come to you.
