the TA has been running great but ive recently run into a problem with my truck. its a 97 dodge ram.... heres the deal

i was trying to change out the thermostat at night with no so great lighting, so thats my excuse ...

anyway it seems that one of the 2 bolts that holds the thermostat housing in place ( the metal housing that the radiator house clamps to) one of those bolts went in cross thread and kinda stripped out the inside of the hole. now when i got to replace the bolt it goes in about 3/4 of the way and just stops. it will still turn but will not tighten.
so now its spraying coolant everwhere, any ideas how to solve this problem? thanks in advance

Get out your tap and die set and re-tap the hole. Patience and good lighting is the key here. Good Luck biggrin.gif

yea, im pretty nervous to mess with it after i tore it up once already, lol... i may try to see if the mechanics might do it for me, if the price is right.
