Hey, no one answered this.

There was just one "optional" steering box that was offered on the 94 Formula, and it was part of the 1LE suspension--a slightly quicker ratio. My "optioinal" box wore out and it was replaced with a standard box and I liked it better. Sorry, I no longer have the special part number for that box and it might not be available any more. But the WS6 box should be and if the mounts are the same, it will fit. The 1LE suspension was officially offered on the 93 Firebird and Camaro and that box will fit--give it a try.

With that said, it's a bear to install, best to let Pontiac do it for you. biggrin.gif Sorry, to be negative about this. The hydraulics are self bleeding, so no need to worry about that, but the front suspension needs to be aligned afterwards. However, when mine needed to be replaced, ordered the new box, took one look at the job and said: "Holy Cow! not fooling around with that".

Many people will probably read this so here is a tip. Don't forget to lube the rack on your steering assembly. Remove the stainless circlips around the boots (they are throwaways), pull the boots back and use any good grease on the rack and the bushing type bearings within the rack. Just run the steering wheel back and forth to expose the various parts. Do both sides and then fasten the boots with zip ties. Zip ties work great until you can get it to Pontiac or Chevrolet to install the stainless clips (if you are anal about this stuff) which require a special tool to get the job done. If the rack isn't greased from time to time, it will wear out just like mine did.
