Anyone seen this? I just recieved my Jan. edition of Muscle machines magazines. In the front theres a picture of the T/A concept car. Based on the '10 Camaro platform, has a 455 ci V-8, 11.5:1 comp., CNC ported and polished LS7 heads, and an LSX FAST 102 intake manifold producing 655HP and 610 -lbs. ft torque. In other words, just another Camaro/ Mustang/ Challenger/ Charger 2 ton tank. I know they used the Camaro platform to cut down on new tooling costs, but it's just agrivating to me to see all these cars that basically look and handle the same.(too heavy, big, and chunky). IMO they don't have the sleek lines and awesome mean styling our cars have. Just please let the legendary Bird R.I.P. Dave

If the one you are talking about is the same one that was at the Trans Am Nationals, then I'm pretty sure I've seen pictures. ls1tech.com has a thread with some pictures of it. I lost the link or I'd post it. The pictures I saw weren't impressive to me. It used the exact same headlights with a different bumper, hood, sideskirts, and rear. And the rear end looks hideous. I agree that they should just let this one die...the Trans Am deserves to be it's own, not a slightly modified Camaro.

Lingenfelter is working on a Trans Am. I am curious to see how that turns out.

A little better, but IMO the ground effects and front and rear spoilers are too extreme. Maybe make them a little more subdued. Still bet it weighs over 4000#'s though.

I like the black one. the older body style doesn't quite match the new platform.

I love that black edition. It would be nice to hit the lottery to buy a few.

and considering the fact that you are looking at another 15 to 25 grand for the conversion over the price of the camaro...but folks are lining up for the kevin morgan concept.

I think there was an HPP with one on the cover recently! All I can say about that is that my truck will be paid off in July 2012. If there is no Trans Am yet, then I will save my money until there is.

Nope, it was HOT ROD. I have it sitting on my desk. Trans Am Depot and Otto Body built it. It is the best looking car I have seen in a while. I am thinking of knocking over a bank to get one!!
