okay..i got a 96 TA and the drivers headlight didnt have a motor at all so i went to the junk yard and got two motors that were off of a really good condition formula. I installed the drivers side and it works fine but the passengers side i also replaced because when i turn the light switch it on , the light would go down and then come back up and stay up..then once i turn the lights off it would go down and come back up again and just stay up..i can manually twist the light down but once i turn on the lights on it stays up still. the motor before this did the same thing so i thought the motor was bad but obviously its something else..im thinking maybe somehwre in the wiring for thet headlight motor or possibly the actual switch inside the car???

I would check the head light control module. It is located by the air filter box on the driver's side of the engine compartment. If memory serves me correctly it kind of sits under the hood stop. It is a black box that has 2 wire harnesses that plug into it. It has the relay for the headlight motors and senses when the motors are at the top and bottom of their travel and shuts off the power to them to prevent gear damage and burning the motors out. If you have a motor that keeps going or is cycling I would suspect that it maybe going bad and causing your issue.
