cool.gif i changed out the optispark distributor and assemble the crank pully on the yoke....when i tightened down the bolts on the pulley it moved alittle...didnt think nothing of it and connected the belt...would this screw up the timing??????????? either that or maybe thinking bad ingnition coil????? please please help

Are you sure the Opti was lined up with the cam right? It will only go on one way but it could maybe be bolted up and tighten down in the wrong spot. Did you hook the main coil wire back up? Are the wires on the right terminal of the Opti? You push till they click into place. Take a wire off of a plug and put another plug into the cap,lay it against the head and turn the engine over while watching the plug gap. Any spark?

are you talking about the opti itself the internal of it??ignition coil is back on....checked the terminals and they are with corresponding plugs...it chugs weak for about 5 sec and then dies.....

All I can recommend at this point is to verify there is good spark and fuel pressure and to double check everything.
