i tried cranking my engine the other day and it cranked for a second and then i hard a loud pop, and now when i turn the ignition it just makes a whirring sound...

I bought a replacement starter but when i put it back in, it makes a loud and heavy clicking sound


what the heck is going on here

ok nevermind i am dumb........my battery was dead given the fact that i hadnt turned my formula on for 3 weeks and just needed a quick charge to get the car going....

btw, the new started kicks major ######


on a completely different note, i replaced the inlet elbow and the cufflink that attaches the elbow to the throttle body is a bit long and is forming a suction, is there another cufflink i can use, l.ike an aftermarket one that will eliminate that suction or can i cut the cuff shorter without having any problems?
