well now my sister is looking into getting a 96 black formula w/110,000 miles with an auto tranny and the dude is asking is $2500 w/ clean Arizona title
i tested it out the other day and this is what I found.

goods: engine responds very well when pedal to the metal, tranny shifts smoothly and pulls hard when I floor it.
body okay condition needs paint job, interior worn and a couple of tearts (black leather). 2 excellent burnouts no misfire at all.
gunned it to 110mph just fine stock rims. lights flip up no veins in windshield

bads: ABS lights on, minor quarter panel dent. no muffler and pipe is hanging. all tires are bald bfgoodrich
minor electrical issues. left signal and dash lights don't work. missing ac knobs and
switch panel buttons broken. when i gunned it i heard a rattle under my seat, some kind of vibration
thinking maybe a tranny mount or exhuast pipe hanging loose. passenger tail light is broken needs bulbs here and there
suspect tranny oil leak and maybe mayyybe motor cuz of a small pool underneath before i left to test drive it
When i turn off the ignition the car
stutters for 5-8 seconds then completely turns off. the ignition feels like its not turning off all the way
and even the arrow does not line up with the ignition butterfly. however it start up fast with no problems
also when i finished test driving it,
i left it on idle and was making a call when i noticed water shooting out from the battery side.
turned it off immediately watching the whole vapor/smoke show. turns out the water temp sensor came off and noticed
alot of rust. worried this might have caused the formie not to start again cuz of the opti getting wet or sensor that shuts off engine
when too hot. called the dude and we towed it to his house and then i get a text telling me "how much for it as is?"
i don't know if I should just run or maybe the formie just needs sum TLC, i want a good bird for my sister. huh.gif
