The database may not be complete as when I first input my car a few weeks ago it cam up with nothing.

My car is really common, why does this indicate that it's rare?

If you parked your car next to one of the hundreds or thousands of similar cars in our database you probably couldn't tell them apart, but that doesn't mean they aren't different.

For example, some may have an RPO listing for the plant in which they were built. If yours was one of only a few that came out of that plant with a given list of options, it would come back as rare. Another car may have all the same options but was built at a different facility and thusly it's considered different.

Craig, I checked this out, very interesting but I'm wondering about the accuracy. When I plugged in my car to it it said that there were ''28,642 vehicals manufactored in 2000 that matched you're model" Sounds really high to me. I've read many times from different sources that said there were 1302 Formula's made in 2000. Dave

Dave their telling you total Firebird production for the year.
Mine said 30,710 But I know there were 2123 Formula's built in 1998
And I agree that the info may not be accurate as their database is likely incomplete at this time
But this site does make it easy to run your Vin and get all your RPO codes.
