Well I just bought a 1995 Formula LT1 V8 with 140k miles and I was just wondering what maintenance should I do to it and what it possibly is gonna need to be done to it. The car runs fine but, I just don't want it to break down on me anytime soon so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

The first thing most of us do when we get a new to us car, change all of the fluids. (i.e. coolant, motor oil, transmission and clutch fluid if a manual, differential, and brake fluid) You never know when they were last taken care of.
The next would be to look at the spark plugs and wires.
Then the fuel filter is always a good place to look as well.
Make sure the brakes are in good shape and do not need replacing soon. Look for cracked pads or pieces missing.

At that mileage, I would also look at the optispark and see what kind of shape it looks to be in. If it has not been replaced, it may not be too far away from needing to be.

I know I am missing something, so I hope someone will have more.

Matt
