I'm Just getting my engine put together and found that the oil pan that I got does not clear the rear counterweight on the crank at all and was wondering if anybody knows what will fit and work good I dont see much on the market without a huge sump that claims it will clear a 383 but i dont know if a large sump will clear my headers. any help???? the pan that i have is cast

Well it doesnt seem like anybody on this forums knows what will fit for sure and after my first pan not fitting and looking around for a few days i think i finally found what i want, moroso makes a 6 quart pan that is only 1/2 inch lower than factory and doesnt extend out of the side at all, and summit has a whole kit with pump and pickup for only 239. i just got it and if anybody post or shows that they want to know i will post about how it fits when i receive it. summit says it will clear the car and moroso claims it will clear a 3.8 stroke http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SES-3-60-08-370/
