Full Version: Engine and Tranny Swap.
I recently purchased a 93 Formula Firebird with the 3.4 V6 and auto trans. I want to replace the drive line with an mild 350 and 5 speed combo out of an 92 Formula Firebird TBI. Can anyone tell me if these will even fit without major modifications and exspense, or should I just sell them and start fresh from scrtch? I am unemployed (layed-off aircraft worker in Kansas) and my funds are non-existant, but I need a project to keep me sane until I can get back to work!!

no pro on this kind of stuff, but if i were you i would just go with the LT1 engine since that is the engine that comes in that year. It should fit right on in there i would think, but i COULD be wrong. im sure someone here can help you out man. Good luck with her!
