Does anyone know the maximum tire width that can be put on a 1979 Formula with 15" Rally IIs without problems (rubbing, handling etc). I would like to get an idea of what kind of an upgrade from the stock size of 225-70 R15 is possible or has been seen to work well.

I had 255/60's on my `79 T/A with the 15x7 snowflakes also had 245's on my 8" flakes and I think 245/60's look the best.
