I have a 1995 Firebird Formula with an LT1 motor in it. I am taking this motor out and putting in a LS1. Before I put the new motor in I am going to cam it, put new headers on, spark plugs, and maybe heads and Intake Manifold. I planned on going with a Comp Cam but I wanted a recommendation as to what one would be the best to get (links would be great), and same with headers and spark plugs. Also, I will be needing a new computer (I found one) and wiring harness. What other wiring will I need? Does anyone know a place that sells LS1 wiring harnesses? I found this site but I do not know if it is any good: http://www.currentperformance.com/eng_mgt.html. Any recommendations are welcome. I have decided to get an LS1 because in the 6 days of owning an LT1 it has been nothing but trouble (intake manifold oil leak and optispark). I am also going to be putting a T-56 tranny in it. My goal is to get 400hp to the wheels. Thank you so much for the help!
