I haven't really been on this site since like October of 09 lol, but I figured I'd log back in and try my hand at selling the Formula on here.
Up for sale is my 1992 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 with t-tops (RPO Code-verifiable for those who doubt the availability of t-tops with the L98). She has high miles, about 160,000 on the all-original drivetrain, but still runs like a bat outta ##### when you get on her. The previous owners as well as myself took great care of her and it really shows because the drivetrain still runs like it's got 60,000 rather than 160,000. She is still registered and on the road, although I drive her only occasionally now to keep the mileage down.
She has a center console swapped in from a 4th gen. Firebird, which I love. That gives the car an extra 4 cupholders, which along with the cupholder on the passenger door (the one on the drivers door was knocked off by me during a rainstorm once as I was jumping in the car quickly....$20) gives the car 5 cupholders, which of course is 1 more cupholder than available seating in the car lol. The car also has a custom sound system, with an Alpine head unit with remote, Alpine speakers in the back and Polk Audio speakers and tweeters in custom-made enclosures up front. Considering the car has no subs and no amp, it sounds pretty ###### sick!!
She's not perfect though. The paint job, while it shines up beautifully after a nice wash and wax, wasn't a very good paint job done by one of the previous owners, and you can definitely see all of the imperfections as you get close. I was planning on painting it in a few years. She also could use an exhaust at some point as well. The exhaust on her now still sounds awesome, but it has an exhaust clamp on it at one spot because it rusted out. The clamps have worked perfectly so I haven't rushed to get a new exhaust quite yet.
Now for the issues:
The blower motor quit working one day. Not sure if it's the motor or the relay, but since both parts put together are around $50, replacing them both is a simple and safe bet to take. The A/C didn't work even when the blower motor was working. It would engage and disengage rather quickly. Could just need a recharge but I'm not sure. I'd rather just take the tops out anyway.
The passenger side window motor is on the way out. It still goes up and down, but it goes rather slowly and it'll stop and then you have to wait for a few minutes before you can move it again, and this gets pretty annoying after a while. The window motor is like $50 ish at Autozone I believe.
A bit more than a month ago, my loving sister was backing down the driveway and apparently forgot to or just decided not to use her side-view mirrors, and sideswiped the car a bit. I was absolutely livid, but it turns out that the damage isn't all that bad as you can see from the pictures. Doesn't affect the driving whatsoever and doesn't affect the functionality of the door at all either. It's purely cosmetic. I was hoping to get an estimate for this soon when I have the chance.
The power steering high pressure hose has a small, slow leak. I have the replacement hose to fix it, but I haven't gotten around to fixing it, so I just add some power steering fluid in once in a while and it works just fine. I haven't fixed any of these problems simply because with work 40 hours a week and school stuff, I just don't have the time to work on the car like I would want to.
So, now for the extras: Along with the car, you get the replacement power steering hose, the complete sound system installed in the car right now, a GIANT Pontiac Firebird factory service manual for 1992 as well as the Haynes Manual, a CD that gives you part numbers for every single part on a Firebird (makes ordering and looking up parts quite easy) and.........a complete set of Ronal R-15s, the very same wheels used on the 1992 Firehawks. They are really rare and can go for $1500 a set or more from what I've been seeing on forums. They look SICK on this car. The previous owner had them on the car, and I am currently awaiting the day where I can pick them up from his house and they will go with the car for the right price.
$2700 obo for the car. Would love it gone by winter!
Well, I think I covered everything. http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/1854841128.html everything I said is here in the Craigslist ad so you can check there for more if you want, or just PM me with any other questions.
I am located in Olivebridge, NY, which is south of Albany, and west of Kingston, NY

I cleaned the car right after this, so the dirt is gone and the damage doesn't even look as bad now.Sorry for the long, rambling post. Thanks for looking!
