I'm going to order a set of BFG drag radials....Two questions..
1)Is this is the best bang for the buck mod, in order to get my 1/4 mile time(esp 60 ft) into respectable territory( currently 15.08@95 mph)
2) In no way will this harm my stock rear end?...(I plan on only going to the strip 3 or 4 times a year ) I have a basically bone stock car....

What kind of 60' times are you getting? I had a 93 A4 with Flowmaster muffler and a K&N in-box filter. On a hot sweaty day it ran a best of 14.52. The differance being it had 3:23 gears instead of your 2:73's. If you can do it,I would install some 3:23's or 3:42's. If you want to keep your rear end stock,I would get a shift kit for the transmission so it firms up the shifts. Then a torque convertor (higher stall) would help a bunch to. Of course, all these things are more complicated to install. If your 60' times are 2.2-2.3 the DR's will help. Each tenth saved off the line is 2 at the other end (about).

The best 60' time I got was 2.312...So with DR's, I should be able to get my 60' down to like 2.1...which would shave like .2 seconds off my overall time...and then I'd be like 14.8 in the 1/4 mile? (hopefully)

If you ran a 15.08 with a 60' time of 2.3 look for about a 14.8-14.7 with a 2.0 60'. Maybe even a little better. Pump the front tires up a bit and play around with the rear pressure. If you want a one time :D ,pull the serpentine belt off once and run around a 14.3.

On my stock GSC's I would launch at around 1500 rpm's with the rear tire pressure at around 18 psi & the fronts at around 55 psi. My 60's were around 2.1 which isn't that bad.
When I went to the DR's, My best 60' with Skinnies in the front & 16 psi in my DR's went down to a 1.78. Now my car has 3.42's so that makes a little bit of difference too.
One thing to remember if you are running DR's, don't go through the water box & do a big burnout. Just go around the water box & do a quick burnout to clean all of the little rocks & stuff off of your tires. If you heat up DR's too much, they can get kind of greasy & your 60's will drop.
As far as rearends are concerned, the 7.5" 10 bolt on these cars is a very week point. The one thing in your favor is that the 2.73's are much beefier than my 3.42's.
