I need to get some new rotors and pads for my car, and if you all check out http://www.irotors.com they give 10% off and cut shipping costs for group buys of 4 or more. At $239 for slotted and drilled rotors all the way around that is a really good deal, plus the xtra off! I will make the contacts and try to get something rolling on this, PM me if interested.

Let me know when you are doing this, I could be in the market for a new set of rotors.

Yes that is for all four for the 93-97. The 98-02 price is $299 I think. That is before discount. They also have pads. The rotors are not coated, but I have found that with slotted and drilled rotors like these that it is just for looks, not for performance. In fact I ruined a primo (EBC) set of pads because of coating on rotors.

Okay I need contact names that I can start giving Irotors to get this going. I was able to get the site working a minute ago, so maybe it was down for maintenence. I am going to find out where the rotors come from and how they make them to make sure that they are good quality (I wouldn't buy them otherwise). Please email me your name and I can forward information to the guys at irotors.

I might want to get in on this if more information is made known here
. Find out all you can and post it back here. Also I saw on their site if we order during the month of April their site shows if you want Zinc coating it's free during April.
And can't we just give them The Formula Source as our name and they get our contact information and car year, make and model and package desired (noticed you can just order front or rear if that's all you really need) when we order? I'm new to group purchases but I've heard that's how other companies are willing to do group purchases, right? Let me know.

I finally got around to contacting irotors today, so I am waiting on a response. I have set up group purchases on probetalk.com before, and in response to the question, yes, that is how most places do it, once you have the minumum orders placed, they will basically keep the deal open for future buyers too.

Here is the reply from irotors
Hello Nathan,
Thanks for expressing interests in our line of products. All of our rotors are manufactured from Dura High Performance rotors. All rotors are cross drilled and slotted by a CNC machine and everything is done in house for quality control purposes.
We haven't done any tests on them to say the least. But we've been providing these rotors to numerous Camaro/Firebird/Impala clubs nationwide for the past two years.
Here are some pictures of the 98-02 Camaro/Firebird rotors:

Well, I need email addresses or contact names to get it going, at least with an initial order. If people want to email me at tuttle_36@yahoo.com with their information I will be more than happy to get this going.

I don't see why not, they have parts listed for the 3rd gens too, and they are the same price, so that should work, I have one person that has emailed me, we need to get more people on this or it will just never happen
