Been a long time since i've chimed in on this board, but thanks to BlackBird Jon for a recent e-mail as it has brought me back.

I am getting together people interested in American Racing's Torque Thruster II's in either 17x9.5 or 17x11's polished rims. I am looking at a price of around $265 (per/wheel) shipped on the 17x9.5's and 272 (per/wheel) shipped on the 17x11's. I think these prices are awesome and hopefully I can get some of you on board. I need a minimum of 6 sets, with one already down, so 5 to go. If we go over 10 sets prices might take a dive!!!!! Thanks everyone.

It does sound like a deal, but I don't have that kind of $$$$ right now for the 'bird.

However, whatever happened to the FTRA? Good to see you back around, hang out a little more, you might like it!!!!

I will try my best. I'm getting ready to start more classes and will be pretty busy all the time. I've e-mailed ya on the FTRA. Just didn't get enough buyers to line up for the sale, unfortunately. At that price they should have gone like hot cakes. Guess it was just bad timing on my part. Well i've got to run, talk to you later.

Is this just for you LS1 guys or can a thirdgen get in on this?

If they will fit on your car you can definately jump in. Here are the specs I have to the following sizes:

17x9.5 Bolt Pattern 5x4 3/4 45.72mm Offset
17x11 Bolt Pattern 5x4 3/4 47.72mm Offset

The prices for these sizes are listed above and if any custom backspacing is needed, the prices will change. The above offsets are the recommendation from the American Racing Website. Just let me know what you'd like to do. Thanks

That looks to be way too much offset for a thirdgen. Maybe some other time.

A friend of mine with a 2002 SS is thinking about those I'll e-mail him the link to here.

We can get custom offsets made but they will not be at the same prices listed above. If you'd like let me know what offset you'd want and I can get you a price qoute on them. I'll be more than happy to do that for you so just let me know at your earliest convience. I'll check the board in the next few days to see if you've posted if now i'll hit you up with a PM, alright.
