Heck those aren't bad times with what you've got done to your car and if it was hot and sticky. I know my times go up some when the weather turns hot and muggy.

it only hooks up ok...not alot of tire spin but enough to be annoying. I usually have good R/T and the bird is really good at getting up and going so usually i always see the othere car in my sidemiror all theway down the track

Do you all pull your rear seats out when you race? I went through my '81 and pulled all of the under dash insulation out. After I get the 455 in and the 4:10's in I am gonna yank out the seats, speakers, spare tire, jack etc and try for low 13's.

I have heard that at least in my car it can account for about 50-60 lbs. Dont forget the jack and spare. I always stand back and look at the car with the hood/trunk/doors open and think "What dont I need to run". Of course I dont pull the carpet etc....

I never remove anything. I want to know exactly how fast the car is in full street trim with the spare and the jack, and everything. it is a street car so I want to know what it can do as one. if I rip everything out and run a better time it is only a track time and doesn't represent how the car is setup 99.9% of the time. also 100lbs =.1 reduction in times usually.

Good point Doug, never thought of it like that.
