I agree that the year model is the most important factor as well. When I first created an album I thought that it asked what year model it was for, which left me free to be creative with the name of my album since it was going to such-n-such a year automatically. Anyway, no problem there, if need be I can go back and change the title of the album to spell it out.

As of right now, for the Generation galleries, those are going to be more of a tech section then an area that is used to highlight our cars. Those areas are going to be used to post pics of each type of Formula (and only Formulas) that was available from the factory for each year. Hopefully this is what will happen. A pic of each stock exterior/interior color combination with hardtop/t-top/convertible combo and stock rims will be found and one pic of that combo will be posted in the appropriate section - example: 3rd gen section, 1987 model - red exterior/light grey interior/t-tops, red exterior/light grey interior/hardtop, black exterior/grey interior/t-tops, black exterior/grey interior/hardtop, etc. So that way if someone comes here looking for what colors/roof/rims were available for each year all they'll have to do is page thru that year to see what an original stock model looked like. So say if someone comes here and has a 1979 Formula that they are redoing and they need to know what the original stock one looked like they'd only have to go to the 2nd gen gallery, click on 1979 and voila, there would be all the pics they'd need to see to know what theirs should look like. Kind of neat huh?
As far as the generation galleries being a place for "available from the factory for each year," I don't know if that is worthwhile or even possible. I mean I can see merits, especially as a database for a niche vehicle like a Pontiac Formula Firebird, but in reality more cars have probably varied from stock configuration now as opposed to being showroom fresh so for the most info to be included, all owner's cars should have a place in the generation galleries. By all means go after as many OEM pics as possible, just label them so that if that is indeed what someone is after, they'll know where to find it. All I care about is to put a car with a name here from TFS. Anyway, if it supposed to be about all stock, well, the only generation gallery that I viewed was for the 1993 model, and the first pic is of a yellow w/ black stripes and chrome wheels Formula, so what's up with that?!?!?!
