Went to Milan Dragway last week with about a dozen friends all different makes of Cars Some New GTO's an SSR, Cobra's and F-Bodies
My day wasn't so good, dry.gif my 91,000 mile original clutch is finally showing itself to the door. It Started to slip above 5000 rpm sad.gif
Best I could manage was a 13.89 @ 104 Mph and that was My first run.

Oh well still had a great time though. cool.gif

Still pulled good speed thru there. What did some of the other cars (like the GTO and SSR) do? I hope the GTO was faster than the Chevy.

My Clutch plus the fact that I need an oil change and a tune up (plugs & wires) killed me. I've run close to 107 mph before I even had an Airlid or my exhaust done. But the car did only have 25k miles on her back then, Maybe she's getting tired. dry.gif
The SSR was in the mid 15's tongue.gif
The GTO's were all in the upper 13's
My one Buddy with his `01 WS6 6spd ran a couple 13.30's @ 106mph.
His car is all stock except for an Air Lid.
Another friend got into the 13.20's with his SOM `01 SS 6spd.
He has SLP Lid< longtubes, 3.73's and drag radials. He is also still a Novice with the manual trans. When he gets better with the shifter He should be in the 13.0's to upper 12's. cool.gif
