Last night i ran a 99.4mph on a 14.5 second run is this even possible? ran a 14.4 at 99.6 to back it up what is going on with my car? ordered the converter went with a 2800-3000 stall so we will see what that does.

Looks like it is possible if you did it twice lol. The reason is prob cause of your reaction time. But i dont know for sure cause I havent ever raced the 1/4 but that is soon to change in the next few weeks.

You probably had less than great 60' times. I would guess around a 2.3 or 2.4? The mph indicates the car can run a 14 flat,or there abouts.Reaction time has nothing to do with it since the timer doesn't start till the tire is out of the beam.

On a quicker run(better e.t.) you'll probably go slower(mph trap speed). Why you ask? Because when your tires spin it makes your e.t. go up, but it also allows your car to get into the next gear sooner so that as you are finishing the run the car is pulling futher up in the gears increasing your mph. When the tires spin less you are getting down the track with less e.t. and not revving as high in the taller gear so the mph is less. You get all that?

Got it all but my car won't spin I can mat it on street tires and it doesn't even chirp now second gear is a different story (spins hard shifting at 6500) and my 60' times are in the low 2.2's should be getting the converter any day now and the 3:73's for the rear hope it wakes this sleeping giant up.
(I have a classic case of being way over cammed for my "current" setup)
