My run times at Sturgis Dragway with my 1999 Kawasaki ZRX1100

I cannot launch for anything, I did beat a kid on a CBR 600 on that run.

My best R/T was .375, I cannot seem to launch, keep traction, and keep the wheel on the ground all at the same time!

Thats about a mid 12 1/4 mile.Thats an 11 sec bike so keep practicing!

The previous owner "says" he ran high 9's with the bike. I am great in the corners and stuff but I suck at launching hard. That tree is hard to learn!


Hand clutch, hand brake, hand throttle, hand eye coordination........aaaaaaahhhhhggg I only have 2 hands.

But I am addicted now, the track is closed for the cold northern winter so I will have to practice up in the black hills till next year.

Cool, just keep at it, I am itching to take my bike up to Englishtown, and run her..... but can never get my friends up for it.
