Try more like mid 13's @ 105-106mph even with a bad launch.

Learn to drive & some DR's and real low 13's are right there.

ya i was thinkn dr's too.....so hopefully after some practice i can hit 13's

the track i go to in NED! so i dunno if ill be doen mid 13's...the low 14's sounds right, cause i heard NED is the worst track..lol

drs should make a good diff......how well do the work can i actually dump the clutch at like 3 2 4k an hook??

My bad...I read '99 TA, but my mind was fixated on your sig with the early 4th Gen. Mid 13's sounds about right but, with street tires, you'll still need to know what you're doing to get there.

You are going to have to work on the launcing technique to compensate for what you did wrong from the previous launch. When I fist race my LT1 at the track, I experimented with what rpms I should drop the clutch at. Well, since there was so much rubber on the ground at the starting line, I have a couple of launches at 4500 rpm. Dont remember wheather that was my fastest run of the day or what, but my car was not hooking up at all.

Now that I have the 315's, I know that I should at least get a good launch, and with planned engine mods and rims/slicks, I know I should get a lot better times.

Just go out there and dont worry about damm Mach 1. It seems to me like you are scared to race him becuase you think you are going to loose. Thats no attitude, becuase if you think you are going to loose, then you will. The critical part of this will be the launch.

my best run stock was 14.14 nothing special but now i put on
- 3:73 Auburn Posi
- KB SFC
- BMR lower control arms
- Engine mounts
- SLP loudmouth w/ a dump
- morso intake
- ported the intake
- engine mounts
- nitto 555Rs

im hoping for 13.2 but 13.4 ill settle

yeah when my ta was bone stock i ran a 13.3 its an auto too with street tires , its a 2000 i was clocked at 105

lol settle for 13.4's mid 13's is pretty fast in any stock street car!
